a couple of weeks ago i had the incredible opportunity to shoot a wedding with scott chester in italy. it was one of the best experiences i’ve ever had. we went to florence, volterra, sienna, and a bunch of other tuscan towns that i can’t pronounce. i even held up the leaning tower of pisa. here are my photos of everything but the wedding – you’ll have to keep an eye on his blog for those. big big thank you to him for bringing me along. all of these images were shot with my pentax 67 and developed by richard photo lab. enjoy.
Norway
I’ve been very blessed this year to be able to travel to places I never thought I’d see. This post was very hard for me. I took a lot of pictures in Oslo so it was very hard for me to choose and because most of the pictures are very…well….white. I hope you guys enjoy these because I certainly enjoyed being there. While there, I realized i’m not a landscape photographer, so you will see a lot of pictures of people. Capturing life is important – especially foreign life.
Bare with me, it’s a long post. Enjoy.

This is the Monolith sculpture from the Vigeland Sculpture park.

More sculptures from Vigeland

The view from the top of Vigeland

I was scared to take pictures of these Royal Palace guards, but Kate assured me it was ok.

um... where do we go?

i love this one of Kate.

this one too...

Don't worry - his Dad was just out of the frame.

Creative, yes?

Of course.....

The airport felt like Ikea but in a good way.

Lastly, my favorite shot of the trip. Thanks for looking.
Oslo Pt. 2
Hello Again. Yesterday, we went on a day trip to the top of the mountain in Oslo. We went to Frogneresten and also to Vigeland Sculpture Park (lots of pictures there). When we were at the top of the mountain, we stopped in to the cafe and had coffee and a piece of “famous” apple spice cake which was amazing. On the way out, we met this experienced sledder – Elena. She was happy to say hi.

And this is what that cake looked like…mmmmmmmm

Lots more to come!
